We’ve received many questions about the Investment Season from both new and returning Admirals, so we’ve gathered the most frequently asked info here (*'▽')☆

What is the “Investment Season”?

- In Uncharted Waters Origin, the Investment Season runs for about 3 months!  

- Your score accumulates during the season, but it resets when the season ends! 

- The current season is Season 4 and runs from September 22 to December 21.

Easy-to-confuse “Investment Scores”

・City Investment Score: Score granted when you invest in a city

・Season Ranking Score: The total amount of Season Tokens earned based on your City Investment Score during the season.

Server-wide ranking is determined using this score.

・Nation Ranking Score: The total amount of Season Tokens earned based on your City Investment Score during the season.

This ranking is per nation; some score may decrease if you immigrate to another nation.

How to earn Investment Scores (City / Season / Nation)

1) Invest at each city’s Embassy! 

- If you reach 500+ City Investment Score in a city, you can receive a weekly settlement reward.

- Based on the amount you invest (Ducat, Investment Deed), you earn City Investment Score.

- Investment is available weekly from Monday 00:30 to Sunday 23:30. Hours may change during the Prime Minister voting week, so please check the Embassy notice!

2) After investing, claim your settlement! 

- From Monday 00:10, go to [Menu (≡) > Fleet Management > Investment Status] to claim rewards based on last week’s City Investment Score and City Investment Score Ranking.

- Settlement rewards include City Investment Dividend, Blue Gem, Investment Season Chest, and Investment Season Tokens.

- City Investment Dividends are available to Admirals who achieve 500+ City Investment Score and rank within Top 50 in that city.

- Mayors receive a higher share of dividends 😉

- Weekly rewards can be claimed only from Monday to Sunday after ranking settlement and before the next settlement starts.

- The Season Ranking Score and Nation Ranking Score accumulate based on the Investment Season Tokens you claim.

- Over the entire season, total token earnings determine both the Overall Ranking and Nation Ranking.

- At season end, Season Rewards are distributed based on your Overall and Nation rankings 💛

Beware: cases where your Investment Score can decrease! 

1) Scores decrease by a set rate weekly ⇒ City Investment Score reduction

- City Embassy Investment Scores naturally decay every week.

- If you invested this week, your score will drop by 5% next week.

- Continued non-investment leads to larger reductions! ('◇')ゞ

*From week 6 onward, 20% applies.

2) Immigrating to another nation ⇒ Nation Ranking Score reduction

- From week 4 of the season, if you immigrate, your Nation Ranking Score will be reduced by a set rate.

- Upon immigration, you are removed from the [Rank > Investment Season > Nation] leaderboard.

*Weeks 1–3: No change on immigration

*Week 4: 90% of Nation Ranking Score is retained

*From Week 5: Retention rate drops by 10% per week (min. 30% retained)

💥I’m short on Ducats. Where can I get Investment Deeds?

[Adventure] Land Exploration

[Trade] Chance to obtain upon reaching Trade Score 1,000

[Battle] Naval Battles (against NPCs and certain pirate groups), Lighthouse of Ruins, Grand Clash, reward for the No.1 nation in Suppression

[Other] Dispatch rewards, Nation Pledge rewards, Voting rewards, Competitive Event Ranking rewards (Individual/Company), Attendance rewards

💥If I immigrate mid-season, what happens to my scores?

・City Investment Score

- Scores invested in your former nation’s Capital and Territory will disappear upon immigration.

*30% of the invested Ducats/Deeds in the Capital and Territory are refunded when you immigrate.

*Nation Occupancy and Company Occupancy do not change due to immigration.

- City Investment Scores in Free Ports follow existing rules regardless of immigration.

・Season Ranking Score

- Calculated purely by total tokens earned; no deductions or extra grants on immigration.

・Nation Ranking Score

- From week 4, a portion is deducted when immigrating.

- You are removed from your previous nation’s ranking upon immigration.

*Weeks 1–3: No change on immigration

*Week 4: 90% of Nation Ranking Score retained

*From Week 5: Retention decreases by 10% per week

💥Anything to note before a new season starts?

- All certificates from the previous season become unusable. Please use them beforehand.

- In the last week’s settlement, Investment Deeds do not drop from the Investment Season Chest.

- “Season Certificates” obtainable from Lighthouse of Ruins and Monthly Attendance are updated when a new season begins.

💥What resets when a new season begins?

- City Investment Score: up to 1,000 is retained; any excess is removed.

- Nation Occupancy, Company Occupancy, Development, Mayor/Offices, and Mayor consecutive terms in each city are all reset.
