This Origin Note will be about the Booming trade event renewal in the upcoming update.

Booming is a trade event already existing in the game where the selling price of a random trade good becomes approximately 150% of the market price,

and there is also a similar event called Trending where the price of a certain trade goods category increases.

We have added Major Trend to give more variety to such trade events.

Major Trend is designed to provide opportunities to earn substantial profits in a regular cycle,

but it lacked elements of an event as Admirals predicted the cycle of the event and waited in certain cities.

Considering this, the upcoming renewal of Booming will maintain the existing random elements,

but it will largely increase the price change and make the price more sensitive to the sales of the affected trade good.

As the Major Trend remains after the update, this renewal will present you with a new trading pattern while preserving your existing patterns.

1. Booming Cycle

1. To avoid excessive randomness, Booming occurs at 4, 12, and 20 o’clock every day by chance.
2. If Booming did not occur at the last time, the chance of Booming at the next time increases.

2. Affected Trade Goods and Cities

1. Like the current manner, a certain trade good is selected.
2. The affected trade good is one least sold from the previous possible Booming time to the next possible Booming time. Therefore, there is a high chance of a trade good that was not likely to be traded being selected.
3. Once a trade good is selected, a random city other than cities that sell the affected trade good is selected.

3. Price during Booming

1. Trade goods price during Booming starts between 2,000% and 4,000% of the usual price, and the rate of change varies depending on the trade goods.
2. A Remaining Purchase Quantity is set once the Booming begins. Servers with a larger population will have larger Purchase Quantities. The Remaining Purchase Quantity decreases when time passes or when Admirals sell the affected trade good. Once the Remaining Purchase Quantity reaches 0, the event ends.
3. Until the Remaining Purchase Quantity becomes 0, the price constantly increases every hour, up to 10,000%.

I hope the new Booming event will present Admirals with the fun of establishing strategies rapidly and realizing enormous profits.

As this is a new type of trade event, please understand that event balance is subject to change depending on the actual use patterns of Admirals.
