💡 What is World Hypertension Day?

World Hypertension Day has been observed annually since 2005,

initiated by the World Hypertension League (WHL)

to raise global awareness about high blood pressure and its risks.

Often called the "Silent Killer," hypertension can cause fatal damage

to the heart, brain, and blood vessels without showing clear symptoms.

1. Chronic stress
2. Excessive salt intake
3. Lack of exercise / obesity
4. Smoking and heavy drinking
5. Family history or aging

Modern-day stress—from high-pressure work or repeated failures—
