🦒 3-Day Giraffe Exchange Challenge!

In the early 15th century, China ruled the seas. 🌊

Emperor Yongle of the Ming Dynasty entrusted the great eunuch Zheng He with a massive expedition fleet.

His fleet counted about 27,000 personnel and 60 treasure ships weighing 2,500 tons each!

Compared to Columbus’s three ships and 120 men,

China’s technological lead was remarkable. 🚢

But Zheng He’s voyage wasn’t about profit—it was about virtue and symbolism.

The emperor wished to show a heavenly sign of his greatness,

and that sign was none other than the Giraffe🦒 presented from Africa!

People called it “Qilin (麒麟)” and believed,

“When an emperor’s virtue is great, heaven sends a Giraffe.”

Thus, “Zheng He’s Giraffe” became a symbol of imperial virtue and prosperity. ✨

Later, Emperor Yongle moved the capital from Nanjing to Beijing and rebuilt the Grand Canal,

making maritime trade less important as goods could now flow inland.

Eventually, Zheng He’s fleet disappeared, China closed its seas,

and Spain and Portugal opened what we now call the “Age of Discovery.” ⚓

So when we exchange a Giraffe today,

it’s not just trade—

it’s a tribute to Zheng He’s legacy and the oceanic history he inspired! 🌍

1. Participation Reward

Exchange a Giraffe at least once during the event period to participate automatically.

→ Reward: Special Livestock Feed ×5, Eastern Token ×100

1. Special Reward (1 per server)

Awarded to the Admiral who exchanges the most Giraffes during the event.

→ Reward: Special Manual ×100, Fortifier ×20, Enhance Protectant ×5

2. Top Admiral per server will be determined by the number of Giraffe exchanges.
