This is Director Park Cheolwoo of Uncharted Waters: Origin.

I would like to express my heartfelt apologies to all Admirals who waited for today’s update.

The scheduled maintenance, originally planned for 9:00 to 13:00 (UTC+9), was extended three times due to consecutive issues and ultimately concluded at 16:00.

We deeply apologize for failing to meet the promised timeframe and for keeping you waiting for so long.

During the maintenance process, several unexpected problems occurred repeatedly.

The development team worked to resolve them as quickly as possible, but some issues could not be fully addressed and had to be shared as “Known Issues” after maintenance completion.

Providing a stable gameplay environment after each update is our most fundamental responsibility, and we sincerely regret failing to fulfill that duty.

Additionally, an emergency maintenance was required to address the current issue of “After the Memoirs reward revamp, the new Exclusive Gear for Otto Baynes and Ernst Von Bohr is not being distributed properly.”

Although this was conducted to resolve the inconvenience experienced by affected Admirals, it resulted in further disruption to all players. I deeply apologize once again. 

This issue was caused by a critical mistake in entering essential initialization data — a clear and inexcusable error on our part, undermining the foundation of the service. I take full responsibility and sincerely regret allowing such a basic mistake to occur.

Unstable updates, insufficient update volume, and delays in reflecting core suggestions have continued to disappoint many Admirals. Rather than offering distant promises, we will focus our efforts on rapidly implementing the improvements you want and delivering those results through a more stable service.

The emergency maintenance took place during hours when many Admirals should have been enjoying the game after work. To express our sincere apology and appreciation for your patience, we have prepared the following compensation:
