Hello, Admirals.

This is Cheolwoo Park, Director of Uncharted Waters Origin.

First, I would like to sincerely apologize for the issue involving the duplicate distribution of Mail Rewards that occurred around 1/5 19:39,

as well as for the prolonged emergency maintenance that caused significant inconvenience to our Admirals.

According to our investigation, due to an error in the mail system, mails that should have been distributed once each to the Korea and Global servers

were sent multiple times based on the number of servers.

As a result, depending on connection timing, up to 17 Mail Rewards were distributed in duplicate.

Immediately after becoming aware of the issue, we inevitably carried out emergency maintenance without prior notice around 1/5 19:51

in order to prevent the further spread of incorrectly distributed mails.

We would like to once again apologize to the Admirals who were surprised by the unannounced maintenance during their gameplay.

After reviewing the situation following the maintenance, we confirmed that over the course of approximately 12 minutes,

many Admirals had already received the mails and used the Rewards.

Initially, retrieval measures were discussed in order to maintain fairness; however,

the incorrect distribution of the mails was clearly our responsibility.

Furthermore, restoring the data of Admirals who had already used the Rewards would require measures such as individual access restrictions,

which we determined could disrupt enjoyable gameplay and lead to additional fairness issues.

Accordingly, we have decided to distribute the maximum duplicated amount of 17 Rewards equally to all Admirals.

To ensure fairness, the following Rewards will be granted to all accounts created before the emergency maintenance on 1/5.

1. Distribution Method: The Rewards will be added directly to your owned currency, not sent via Mail (automatically applied upon login).
2. Distribution Criteria: Admirals who have already received part of the Mail Rewards will be granted only the missing amount, ensuring that all Admirals ultimately receive the same Rewards listed below.

Once again, we deeply apologize for the inconvenience and concern caused by our mistake.

Before asking for your understanding, we fully acknowledge that the trust damaged by this incident cannot be completely restored through notices and Rewards alone.

However, we would be grateful if you could accept this small gesture of ours, made in recognition of our fault and with the intention of providing equal benefits to all Admirals.

We will thoroughly reexamine all issues that occurred and improve our systems to ensure that similar incidents do not happen again, exercising greater care going forward.
