Are you familiar with the Salvage mini-game content in Uncharted Waters Origin?

With the 1/15 update, the Salvage content has been improved!

If you’re still unfamiliar with Salvage, be sure to read this guide!

Now, let’s get started!

* The attached screenshots were taken in a test environment to help your understanding and may differ after updates.

📌 What is Salvage?

🐥Salvage is a type of content where you pull hidden treasures sunken on the Deep Sea floor up to the surface at specific locations,

    allowing you to obtain various rewards!

📌 Is there anything I need to prepare before salvaging?

🐥To perform Salvage, you need to purchase Ropes sold at shops or the Item Shop!

    Available ropes include Intermediate Salvage Rope, Superior Salvage Rope,

    Special Salvage Rope, and Legendary Salvage Rope!

📌 I’ve prepared the rope! What should I do next?

🐥Once you have your rope ready, you need to move to a region where Salvage is available!

    Wondering how to get there?!

    Select the [Explore] tab at the top of the World Map,

    then move to the area marked with the yellow Salvage icon!

* If the Aesthetics condition is met, the Salvage icon will appear on the World Map.

📌 You’ve arrived at the Salvage Area!

🐥If you’ve arrived at the Salvage Area, it’s time to proceed with Salvage!

    Salvage is a type of content where you move the Treasure Chest, avoid obstacles, and earn high scores to obtain rewards.

    So before you begin Salvage, it’s a great idea to familiarize yourself with the items in advance!

🐥 Once you’ve checked all the items, select the Admiral’s ship and then tap the [Salvage] button!

🐥From the Salvage Rope selection window on the right side of the screen, choose the rope you want to use,

     then press the Salvage button below to start the mini-game immediately!

🐥If you reach the Target Score, Salvage will end immediately and you can obtain the rewards.

     Even if you fail to reach the Target Score, the mini-game will end immediately once all remaining time until Salvage ends is consumed,

     or when the Salvage Rope Durability is completely depleted!

🐥The quantity of rewards is determined by Acquired Score / Standard Score, so it’s best to earn as high a score as possible!

📌 Curious about Salvage Rewards?

🐥 Salvage rewards vary depending on the Aesthetics Expertise LV of the 1st Fleet,

      the location where Salvage is performed (Deep Sea / Celestial Sea), and whether it is a lower- or higher-level area.

      After moving to a location where Salvage is available, select [Reward Info] at the bottom-left of the screen to check the rewards!

      Also, while performing Salvage, you may obtain a Treasure Chest that appears at a low probability.

     Please note that Treasure Chests can be opened using a Treasure Chest Key sold at the Item Shop.

📌 What’s the difference between the Deep Sea area and the Celestial Sea area?

🐥The rewards that appear differ between the Deep Sea area and the Celestial Sea area!

     You can check the current Salvage area at the bottom-left of the Salvage screen!

📌 Are there any effects or commands that help with Salvage?

🐥 There are Mate Effects and Admiral’s Orders that help with Salvage!

📌 GM’s Salvage Tips!

🐥Since Rope Durability and Standard Score Reduction differ by rope type, we recommend using the highest-grade rope whenever possible!

🐥 Try to avoid obstacles as much as you can, and it’s better to collect Pearls rather than Gold!

    Also, when items appear, focusing on collecting items instead of Gold or Pearls will help you achieve an even higher score!
