We would like to provide a clear explanation of the system details and design intent regarding

the Trade Point acquisition formula, which many Admirals have recently inquired about.

To begin with the conclusion, it is true that a correction formula is applied to the amount of Trade Points earned as Company LV increases.

The structure in which Trade Points decrease relative to net profit as the level rises is not limited to Company LV 100 and above, but applies to all Company LV ranges.

However, we sincerely apologize for the confusion caused by insufficient prior notice when the Trade Point system was first introduced in November 2022,

as well as for the additional confusion caused by incorrect information previously provided by Customer Support.

Below is a detailed explanation regarding Trade Point acquisition by level, which many Admirals have questions about.

[Reason for the Correction Formula]

The main content of Uncharted Waters Origin can be broadly divided into Combat, Adventure, and Trade.

Combat and Adventure have a fixed minimum time per play session,

whereas Trade can result in exponentially different net profits within the same amount of time depending on specs (e.g., 1 million vs. 10 billion Ducats).

If points and rewards were granted solely based on net profit, the reward gap could exceed 10,000 times, so a level-based correction formula was introduced to mitigate this imbalance.

[Relationship Between Growth and Rewards]

The biggest concern for many Admirals may be, “Why do I earn fewer points even though my level has increased?”

This concern was taken into account during the design of the Trade Point correction system.

To compensate, reward chests for higher levels are designed to contain items of significantly higher value than those for lower levels.

In other words, the system focuses on improving the quality of rewards rather than the quantity of points.

While the number of points earned may decrease, the contents of the reward chests obtained with those points (such as Grade 26 Building Materials) are designed to provide access to higher-tier items.

All other conditions, such as Mate effects and Expertise, are assumed to be the same except for Company LV.

The Trade Point correction system has existed since the introduction of the Trade Point system itself.

However, as the maximum level remained at 98 for a long period, the characteristics of this system may not have been clearly felt.

Although this change was something Admirals would naturally experience with the level expansion,

we sincerely apologize for the misunderstandings and inconvenience caused during the growth process,

as we failed to fully review the level-related systems in advance and provide transparent, detailed guidance.

Additionally, when future level caps are expanded, we will thoroughly re-examine the current correction formula system so that growth can be clearly felt as a tangible benefit.

Based on the valuable feedback recently provided by our Admirals, we will once again review whether there are any elements that undermine

a sense of achievement, and we promise to provide detailed advance notice should any changes be made.
